Abey is a Managing Principal at Ducker Carlisle, leading the automotive and materials practice with a focus on transportation, mobility, and electrification. With over 18 years of experience in automotive materials, he specializes in lightweighting, materials substitution, and joining across metallic and non-metallic applications. He provides strategic leadership to help clients capitalize on mobility and lightweighting trends. Abey serves on the Board of Directors for the Society of Automotive Analysts, the editorial advisory board of Lightweighting World Magazine, and is an active member of the Society of Automotive Engineers.
