BIOGRAPHY

Carlos Pereira, the chief scientist with SABIC's global Automotive Technology team, focuses on thermoplastic solutions for electric vehicles and autonomous driving. His work at SABIC spans vehicle applications, including under-the-hood systems, interior and exterior trim, and aerodynamic exterior parts for heavy trucks.

Before joining SABIC in 2014, Carlos held project engineering roles at RUAG Space, where he worked on large satellite composite structures and International Space Station experiments. His career at Dow Chemical spanned over 13 years of application development, building expertise in composites and structural automotive materials.
